La sopa de zanahoria del Dr. Moro
The CARROT SOUP BY DR. MORO dates back to Professor Ernst Moro, who worked as chief physician at the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich in the early 20th century. The soup consists of few ingredients: carrots, water, and a little salt. Carrots are boiled in water in a ratio of 1:2 for at least 90 minutes at 100°C. The secret of the soup lies in the oligogalacturonic acids that are generated during cooking. They are very similar to receptors on the surface of the intestinal wall and are capable of positively contributing to intestinal health. In addition to oligogalacturonic acids, carrots provide a multitude of important vitamins and minerals. For example, vitamin A, which contributes to the balance of the intestinal barrier and oral immunotolerance. In cases of acute diarrhea, the Dr. Moro soup should be given to the dog for 1 or 2 days several times a day instead of regular food. From the second or third day onwards, alternate the soup with the usual food or mix it with it until the defecation stabilizes.
